I don't know about factory but I run Autolite AR52's gapped at .050. Of course you will also need a hotter coil and big honkin' wires.

If you have a stock engine the gap is .027-.030 The Haynes book says the gap should be .025 but my car didn't want to run with the gap that small. I regaped the plugs to .028 and my car ran fine. I also recomend using Bosch WR9DC or WR9DS spark plugs.

The rule of thumb on plug gaps is to open them up in .002" increments at a time. When the car begins to lose power or slow down then go back .001-.002" and this in most cases is the optimum gap.
Remembering that the Ignition Unit, plug brand as well as heat range, cap and/or rotor styles and FUEL TYPE or brand will change the optimum spark plug gap settings.

start w/ 0.030 and work from there. IIRC, my bosch silver plugs are gapped to 0.034.

btw, never ever get platinum spark plugs for the m10.....especially the bosch +4's

thanks for all the great tips fellas. I purchased a set of standard autolite plugs and champion wires for the car. the cap and rotor are next when I'm back in town in January. I'm still tossing the idea around about keeping the original 230,000 mile motor or dropping in an LSx family motor.....either way, I want to fix this motor up for now.
