This is our yearly pre-winter meet.

We will be at the macy's lot at 2pm for about 2hours then we will have a nice drive down jones beach highways to another lot where we will take pics and get to know other forum members/rides. This has always been a huge turn. There will be bimmer's, audi & vw, so this should be a great time. After the meet we will all go out and eat with everyone.

If there's going to be stupid shit going on at this meet, count me out. I don't need the hassle of worrying about some dumbshit losing control while doing a donut and slamming into me or my car. Or trying to be "cool" weaving in and out of traffic and endangering everyone else, not to mention themselves, on the road.

And anyone that feels the need to race, why not go down to Englishtown and do it? Or even better, do a REAL race and attend the many autocross events the NY BMWCCA holds throughout the year or go to the many other autocross events all over the NY metro area?

There will be :nono racing, cutting in and out of members. We will do a video shoot while driving and phootshoot that it will be up in the www.eurowerkz.com site.

Yes no offence to anyone but there is be absolutely no racing. We are all there to have a good time, meet fellow members, and enjoy each others cars and have a nice pleasant drive down Jones Beach. The meet is open to all forums and has been posted on e46fanatics, m3forums, dtm and bimmerforums and few others. So there should be a good turn out lets make it safe, fun and enjoyable for all. :D

it's from Crayola. it uses Crayola glitter and crayons melted in the microwave and then applied with a paint brush. pretty trick if you ask me.

Adam DID install the front end of the kit himself, he left the rear up to the body shop. they did the paint for him as well.

you're a great sport bud, I honestly have no idea what the color was called. he had a thread on it in the Rides forum when he was picking between a few different 'shades of black'.

The paints base is from the new Lambo's, the silver metallic flake effect was added to the clear coat I think, but either way, its lambo black with sparkles.....

I did install the front and one of my friends helped me install the front fenders. Just to test fit.
This was only because i waited 3 months to get the kit and couldn't wait any longer.
The body shop took out out painted all the panels and then put them back on the car.
The car was painted 04 Lamborghini Murcielago (Deep Black 2CT) With Silver Perl Flake from house of color.

till 6pm i guess. We chill at the lot for a bit and then take a nice cruise down jones beach for a couple of miles to another lot. From there we all go out to eat. Anyone can come and eat.

I think it should be a "play it by ear" thing. If you see :rain around 2:00 go home and come back next weekend.

JMHO, I live 10 minutes away and have wipers so it's no big deal to me either way.

Macys parking lot like always. And i don't really care if it rains i'll bet it would be lite. We have unbrella's so no biggie. :redspot

I hope i'm not the only one thinking this way, but i think a meet with rain is a waste. I really think it's no fun when you can't be outside looking at nice clean shiny cars under blues skies. I never went to a meet before but i'm assuming you guys all get toghether outside of you cars and check out everyones car and then take a ride and some pictures and i think when it rains there really no point in meeting up. Again, that's just me. If there rain i won't be there, i guess i'll just have to wait for next time. :(

I won't be going. There's a light drizzle outside, and I believe meets need the nice weather so that you can step out of the car and actually meet everyone. If it's changed to next saturday I'll see you guys there otherwise I'll see you guys in the next one.

By the way thanksgiving weekend is right around the corner I'm sure it'll be easier and more people would attend if it's scheduled in those days.

Thank you for the number NYPLAYA, but i think i will sit this one out. i checked mapquest and it says that it should take about 50 minutes to get there from my house. Now considering the weather and how nice the belt parkway always is, the real time estimate i say is about 1:15 to 1:30 minute to get there. The weather and the fact that it's already almost 1pm, I don't see myself getting there in time especially since i would only be able to hang out until about 3:30 since i have a party to get to tonight and i have to pick up my girlfriend in Staten island and then be on my way to Jersey. I guess it just wasn't meant to be for me today. If the weather was nice i would have alreay been there and not stalling all this time.
Please tell me you'll have another one before year end. :( If not i'll really be looking forward to one for next year. I may have a few more mods to show off by then. :D

well we went and it was actually good , i was under the impression that it was off, but at 2:15 a freind called me and was like theres a whole bunch of bmw's at the mall so i was like ok cool so i jumped on the parkway and headed over decent amount off ppl i was suprised , i enjoyed wiping in and out of traffic in the rain on the drive with everyone , tried to take some pics but it kinda hard to do the multiple task's anyway im looking fowerd to more meets

The meet was preety good, good turn out despite the crappy weather. The rain was on and off and it got preety hard at one point. I didnt stay for the cruise, rain + my car= fish tailing every 2 minutes. It was definetly nice meeting everyone.

Here is some pics i took. Adam will post the rest. It was a good turnout. I was very suprised. My car was fish tailing in that rain like crazy. I need to get rain tires. Parada spec 2 suck in the rain. I had to drive 40mph in that rain. We went to hooters after and ate 50 chicken wings and 10 chcicken heads :D J/k. Was fun.
