it's not that bad especially if you're comfortable with a soldering iron...which i am not!:mad here's a pic of mine and i have already tested and everything works fine. i may be putting together some step-by-step instructions on removing the dsp. it would be a good time to do it since my trunk is still ripped apart. take a look...

Look for Mark Wong to chime in, but his CarDomain site has a great how-to on installing a Basslink sub. Probably comparable to what you need for your subs...(I don't have the link, sorry)
Or, just go to an audio shop and ask if they will do the work. Or ask an installer if he does work on the side...
Can't help on your aux question, though.

trust me, i thought the exact same thing at first...but it's easier than it looks and after you get step-by-step instructions which i'll try to get to soon, you'll be comfortable enough...or at aleast comfortable enough to have another person do it.
the basslink just doesn't do anything for the type of music i listen to so it really wasn't an option for me. right now i'm doing the installation on my stock speakers to get everying in the right place before i do the upgrade of speakers and amps

I totally agree. I'm selling my Basslink. It is only about 5 months old. I plan to do a really nice custom enclosure in the trunk that takes minimal space. I will need to bypass the current crossover points to get the results I am seeking. Please keep us posted on your progress. This is GREAT news.
