Ok, on my e30 the passenger side factory jack location is rusted threw. somehow a jackstand was placed on it without me there and now the area collapsed and the jack plate fell off and im left with a dented in wheel well at the bottom and where the fender meets the lower area is now ripped off. my question is how should i go about a repair there since there is a hole there. i was goning to have the general area where the rust is just cut out and repaired but now some good metal is bent in :mad i knew this was an issue when the car was repainted but i guess they didnt fix it like i was told that they did :mad . now short of putting a more extensive cage in the car which i might end up having to do now with some foot protection what is my best bet for repair of the area? should i just have them weld in a plate there and cut out the rust or is something more needed?
