Woohoo! Got the ok from my better half to start looking for E36 325s.

So, is there any way to verify options short of the original window sticker? I know Mazda has a 1-800 number you can call with the VIN to get build details - does BMW USA have a similar service?

Basically, I'd want to verify the car was built with Sport and LSD options as the car would be run in DStock for a while until budget allows the move to STX.

Usually there is a build-sheet stapled to the underside of the rear seat cushion.
