Well, my wife is kinda autox-ed out at this point.

Let's see....

Landscaping is a mess, grass is way overdue for fertilizing, boat still needs to be winterized, garage is a federal disaster zone, everything non-BMW needs a winter waxing, deck was supposed to have been powerwashed and sealed (at least I powerwashed about 3/4s of it), never did dig those french drain trenches, and I'm sure I'm leaving lots out. :help

It was the last event of the season... Give it some time so the final points can be verified. :rolleyes
They should be up before next season. Don't worry.

Isn't that what kids are for? :confused :stickoutt

Pressure wash the deck in the spring so you can enjoy it looking nice all summer (good excuse for the wife). The most I do in the fall is spray/seal it.

Eric -

I didn't stick around for final heat, but *think* that you held onto FTD.

James Sheridan and Bill Brochu had faster raw times, but both coned.

Believe that Fatih was second fastest overall with a 53.8xx and I may have come in third with a 54.0xx.

Sunirry-

You should bring the car out and just do one for the heck of it. Last week some dude brought out his ITS 325 and ran it.

Yep, he was loud and slow :D

I didn't think that a 58 sec time was super slow.

I was kidding, I don't even know what times he ran. I think my best run was 61.6 which is not too bad for that car and tires. Brian Hair ran 60.4 in it, his first run. :help

My best run was during my fun runs. :mad I ran a 56.9.

Ken and I were saying how it sucks to have your best time as your fun run. Less to think about I guess.

So was mine....Sure, I mean it's also the 4+ attempt at the course as well.

My best time was a 58.6 in the kinda damp second half of the second heat. I also ran in the third heat and I think my best time was a 57.3. It was dry, it was my 5th or 6th run of the course, but most importantly I had someone in the car pointing out what I was doing wrong. THAT made a huge difference for me.

Yeah, the guys that ran in the rain got the shaft.

Luck of the draw. Remember Rosecroft earlier in the summer? I ran in the dry, and then got to watch everyone else do the Boatocross.

It sounded like the guy was spinning his tires the entire way around the course. Probably not the best idea to use track compound R comps on cold damp asphalt.

No question. A 56.xx on street tires when it was still damp. What body part did you pull that out of?

i really really love these events but it seems only NCC or anything with the BMWCCA allows me :(

I ran a 56.5 IIRC on cold tires before I noticed my car was broken again. :(

Plus he's most likely running a really short ratio, like a 3.64 or 3.73 gear in that car.

I'll be there Sunday. :) Last Council autox of the season, have to make it count. :D

Jed, I take it that you still want to co-drive. :)

p.s. My best time on Saturday was a 57.2xx with Woddy "My other car is also Gay," Hair. :D

sheesh you autox guys take this stuff way too seriously, talkin' 'bout gears, r-comps, rain times vs. dry n' stuff :devillook ...the guy was probably just looking to have some fun :) ...road course cars are not set up for autox and vice versa...

my car will probably be slow out at rosechunk also...but who cares, If I brought it, it'd be for fun....

if I don't bring it, I may need to codrive someone elses...anyone up for it ;) ...um Bogdan or others :stickoutt

Sunir-

That was my point. :rolleyes Was that he is running road course gears... That the car wasn't an autox car. Plus most who go to a BMWCCA is there for fun anyway. Any real hardcore competition is at SCCA.

He did well considering the car was optimized for road racing and not autox.
