a driver's license (lol but they dont check), a car (you can be a codriver), $20, and patience (some waiting involved).

but it is a blast when all is said and done :redspot

This is very close to me so I'm planning on stopping by. I don't think I'll be auto crossing though. I'm too much of a wuss but I would love to watch.

Paco - I don't know what kind of helmet you need or if you have one already. But I have a motorcycle helmet I could bring for you.

I'm about 10 minutes away from this place so meeting up wouldn't make much sense for me.

Forgot to mention that you dont need a helmet cuz they provide them ... esp for newbies like me ...

And they are bright orange without a full face so they make you look like a special needs driver ...

:lol

btw, no need to be scared cuz they are very friendly to new drivers, they give a novice walk through and allow you to have an instructor sit with you during all of your runs if you want ... plus they have something called fun runs which are at the end of the event and are basically just untimed and no holds barred fun ... :buttrock

All right, i am really considering doing the auto-x. Nothing will be for sure untill i show up and see if I am in a mood to embarass myself. What time is everyone going to be there?

http://www.fcscc.com/04schedule.htm .. check out this page and it gives you directions and registration times ...

I am coming from the west ... so I am planning on meeting up with anyone coming from my direction at Exit 8 on I-84E for Bethel/Newtown Road. At the end of the ramp, make a right and then a quick left within a 100 feet or so into Friendly's Parking Lot. I will be there at 8:30 AM and will wait til 8:45 or so and then leave for the autocross event. I think it would be cool for a few bimmers to roll in together ... :buttrock
