Anyone know a good shop in North or Central NJ qualified for performance upgrades?

I'd like to bump this one, because I just ordered my SSK and I don't feel like doing the install myself. I should have it by the middle of next week, so if anyone can respond with some good info that would be great.

It depends what you are having done.

If you buy Rogue Engineering products they will install them in their Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ shop which is in Bergen county. www.rogueengineering.com

If you buy Dinan products you can have them installed by www.Motorworkswest.com which is in Wyckoff, NJ (also Bergen County)

Those are the two that I trust..and after having a rogue shifter installed in their shop I became hooked on their quality and customer service.

I got one down in bergen county all the cars they build are mostly for track and street racing ... if ur interested email me or PM me i can take u in person or give u the number he will do the work dirt cheap long he knows its from ... and all those guys who couldn't get inspection sticks u know where i am in jersey i can help u with that too but i can't mention nothing on here

I don't know if your willing to come down to x105 on the GSP, but if you are, you can't go wrong with Bodymotion. I've tried a few independent BMW guys in the region and like them the best. Their customer service is top notch. Had an alignment done about a month a go. Didn't like how it turned out, made a phone call, just scheduled me to bring it back, no questions asked. bodymotion is ok........i've brought my previous m's there and they were great with the guy that was from south africa.......after that guy quit they went in the shitter........now they got the owners son behind the counter ACE is his name and they milk you for every penny. believe me my cousin brught his 993 TT there and the prices thewy were offfering for some upgrades were rediculous...............they're good because they have a racing background but they have the weirdest hours................but hey they were once great but now I'd suggest somewhere else.....my opinion though

Myself and a few of my friends used The German Car Shop in Edison off rt 27. They put in my SSK and my friend had some performance work done there. Work was good and they didn't kill the wallet

he's a mechanic so if you get the part, he'll put them in. BTW: he's open until something like 10 pm on weekdays. i've been to his shop until 2 am before!! yeah, the guy works very hard. he's open on the weekends too. Great guy too, name is Mike.

mr. m car don fields i think x95 are on the gsp. hands down one of the best bmw techs in the country and a e30 m3 specialist(builds some of the best s14's) he is not cheap but is honest and damn good hes the only one outside of me and a friend or 2 i trust to work on my race car

Vodo - can he diagnose electrical gremlins? My e30's parking lights are NG and keep popping fuses.
