I'm replacing the front strut inserts on my 1994 525i with Boge inserts I bought off ebay. The threaded top of the shock is a little shorter than the OEM Boges and will only reassemble without the lower two washers under the strut bearings. Is this acceptable or do I need to buy one with the correct length threaded portions?
