Just replace that bulb with a superwhite one or whatever color you want and that'll do it. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v342/maxpower6733/lightarrow.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v342/maxpower6733/light.jpg Skipper5 10-08-2004, 04:30 PM like this: http://68.6.62.91:81/~photos/albums/album165/DSC04092.sized.jpg or if you work for the police: http://68.6.62.91:81/~photos/albums/album165/DSC04103.sized.jpg MaloventEvil 10-08-2004, 04:39 PM what type of bulbs do you use to swap and where can you buy it? When I look at mine theres glue or somthing all over the bulb holder, and I cant budge it ...How did u do it??? and what kind of bulb is it??? Skipper5 10-09-2004, 02:25 PM mine had this plastic weld on it too. can you say DREMEL :) just be careful and take off as little as you can around the joint. that way it will still slide back in and hold. the filter is just stained glass. i picked mine up at a craft shop. they had a bunch of scraps they let me look through and take for free. i cut the pieces to fit the housing and lightly pressed them in. the rest is history :) EthiRtyNiN3 10-09-2004, 02:35 PM Kool!!! Is the blue lense really THAT blue like pictured on your site, or is it a fainter color in person? I want to get a "HID" look with the AE, but I don't want to be harrassed constantly by cops here for having blue rings. Thanks dy540i 12-21-2004, 09:39 PM Here are two other photos showing the effects of the flexible, heat resistant filters. I've got two types of blue -- the Jungle Blue is actually a deeper blue than the Dark Blue. These photos are very representative of the actual look. The key to photographing them is to use a camera with a fast shutter speed. Otherwise, too much light enters the camera and the image (the angel eye) appears blurred or washed out. :smiliecap dy540i www.angeleyesUSA.com (http://www.angeleyesUSA.com) RiChi 12-23-2004, 03:06 PM suscribing :) bimmer540wsubs 12-23-2004, 05:00 PM are teh different colored angel eyes legal for street use at nighttime??? Skipper5 12-23-2004, 08:48 PM are teh different colored angel eyes legal for street use at nighttime??? only some colors are legal to use. forward of the car the only colors allowed are white, amber (orange), and yellow. colors like blue, red, green are illegal. i have been pulled over and ticketed for the red angel eyes. once in over two years is something i can deal with since its just a fix it ticket and easily correctible. |
