I was watching it, and is it just me or is BMW having serious reliability issues? Who knows maybe the next you test drive a new M3 it will spews flames. Customer: "is it supposed to do that"
Dealer: "ya, its a feature we looked prefection in the eye and burned his eyebrows."

The racing M's are having trouble, but that has nothing to do with the E46. That car's internals have almost no resemblence to the street legal version. its a freakin V8. Its untested technology, so it will take BMW a while to get it right,

yeah I saw that. I'd have been getting the Hell out of that car;) I tape all the stuff too.

Didn't you think the coverage was absolutely HORRIBLE? about 2 hours of watching the R8s go around the track. They didn't even show how the M3 got all banged up. The crews that they use in Europe for TV are terrible.
The TV crews that Speedvision Hires to cover the ALMS and GrandAM are way better. In May I'm probably going to be working for Boykin and Associates (the company speedvision uses for ALMS and GrandAM) at the 6 hour race at Watkind Glen. They do a WAY better job than whoever did the Donnington race. I'm am sure it wasn't an NBC crew.
