That's a lot of salt under that hood... Anyways, soak it in any type of strong ass solvent, and after that go over it with a nice wire brush. After that take it to a local body shop and let them sand blast the exterior of the plenum. Once done, take some sand paper (3 grades, rough, medium, and fine) and polish the "M POWER" letters on the exterior. I did that to my plenum and the valve cover, looked so clean and so bling - bling.

im not so much concerned on how it looks to rather if all the crap inside is going to be a problem, should I take it somewhere to be cleaned? Or would i be able to get by, by soaking it in the tub?

I guess it depends on how much crap you got in there. My guess is you should be fine just by soaking it and trying to get inside with a brush. Wire brush is the last resourt. I used a lot of Carb Cleaner from Wally World. For $.78 a bottle, can't beat it. Though I do think you should try to get as much oxydation off as possible with wire brush. Just from looking at those pictures it looks like all the contact points on the plenum are corroded and will be a problem creating air tight joints. And if you know anything about S14s, you should know that those engines don't need any help leaking air into their intake manifolds. Also, If i were you I'd get all new rubber seals for the intake. :stickoutt

Alright I will do that, yeah it looks like the ICV hose is a bit worn out (maybe this is causing the problems??) so im going to replace a lot of the hoses too

would anyone see a problem with moving the ICV over the throttle body? Looks like the wires come down from the top, along with one hose that goes into the TB by the middle injectors, the other "left" side hose i would just have to extend 5 inches or so.

Holy carbon! Look at those nasty TBs!!! :D Use some old AC piping to make that extension. I guess it would be very important to keep the inner diameter of the hoses/piping the same throughout.

PS: Carb Cleaner + degreeser are your friends :buttrock
