Just got my Technique Tuning mods installed (36# injectors ,ECU mods and HFM) and need to get a few runs in on a dyno to see how things look now. Does anybody know a good dyno shop in the Riverside/San Bernardino or surrounding areas? Was going to go to Dynoworks in SB but they only check A/F with a probe up the pipe.
So far street tests with my Wide Band show it to be running a bit rich (9.5 -10.5) at boost. A far better situation than what I was seeing with the Mechtech setup (RRFPR, stock HFM with clamp, stock injectors and stock software).

Were you running lean with the previous setup?
How much boost do you plan on running with your reduced compression, etc?
How much boost are you currently running?
Sorry if this is OT, but I am curious. Can't help you with your dyno search!!!

Subpilot, first, i think you dont have to fear getting your afrs read in the tailpipe at the dyno.. See other threads on this subject here.. AT WOT, a tailpipe mount is ok.
As for your 9.5-10.5 readings, is your wideband calibrated ok? I thought 9.5:1 is richer than its even supposed to be able to report. Lastly, is this ecu a first revision? No point going to the dyno til everything is straightened out.

Where is your BOV located?

This is the first shot at the software. I have a DIY Wide Band and the bottom AFR level is 9.5 per a look-up table in my logger. I can't really attest to the accuracy of the WB but I did a resistance based calibration when I put it together and it reads ~14.7 at idle so I beleive it is pretty accurate. Part of the reason for the Dyno runs is to calibrate my WB so I'd like to be sure of the shops WB accuracy.
I have done a few more runs and have seen the AFR go as high as 11.5 at 10PSI. I also have a bit of stumbling at <3K RPMs when putting around and it's worse when cold but it idles OK.
The previous setup ran smoothly but was definately lean. I had the max boost at 7PSI. I'm hoping for 10-12 PSI with Nick's tuning and the .140" Head Gasket.
The BOV is about three inches before the Technique Tuning HFM and is vented to the outside world.

Did Nick say anything to you about locating it as far away from the TB as possible?
