So Im coming up to a light and I pull up next to this lowered, Modded S-10..
I didnt really have time to challenge him formally because we got to the light right as it changed. were both rolling through the light at a crawl, I pull ahead a bit to see if hes game and he matches my speed. I stomp on my poor auto and pull slightly ahead meanwhile he floored his about the same time. were neck and neck up until he shifts to 2nd..... he them proceeds to spit rubber at me and teleport a few car lengths ahead :shifty
I figured Id lose, maybe not that bad or that fast. no biggie I continue on my merry way... 2 traffic circles later im on highway 98(2lanes) and Mr. S-10 pulls up next to me :eek: So were rolling down the street at about 45-50 waiting for traffic to clear. the lanes open up and once again he waits for me to make a move. So I pull ahead a bit, he matches me. I put the selector In sport mode and step on it, as does he. were neck and neck again and he shifts. only this time he doesnt gain on me he actually drops back :eyecrazy At that point I shut her down. Not sure how fast we got going though.
I dont know, I figure a S-10 might not pull hard from a roll.... Or maybe its the gearing?? all in all Im pretty happy that my little 318 beat a v6 from a roll :buttrock
