ok, here is the scenario. I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee for 2 years, I have been super lazy and have not waxed or polished it in the whole time I have owned it. I really haven't done anything but regular washing it, or not so regular. I have a PC DA orbital with klasse AIO, Klasse SG, and 3m Fi2.

When using the polisher last night i noticed the Fi2 was not strong enough to take off the oxidation. It smoothed it out but it was not like glass or squeeky clean. After using a clay bar it gave me the results i was looking for.

My question is: Will using 3m fi2 rubbing compound give me similar results to using a clay bar? Is it safe? I used Fi2 on a yellow Lake county pad and it wasn't strong enough.
