So now that I have been here for a little over a month now I can tell Dallas has a lot going on in the way of cars. There are several car clubs and boards out there and no one really interacts with each other. I know, I know we like our own cars and a lot of times people get snobby but there is a lot to be said for have one site that you can go to that would have locally "Car Events" open to all makes and models too.

In Tampa we tried to have one large event per month that included everyone on this board. We of course still had our own boards which we did things with on a weekly basis.
This allowed us to get to know other people out there and in turn allow us to know more about what was going on in other areas.
This is just my 2 cents.....
If you like the idea I would be willing to talk more about it.
I am going to post this up on the 300ZXCub.com and VDubAddiction to get there reaction as well.
As a side note, we even had local cops sign up on our board which was pretty cool in the long run.

Last time there was an all car meet, 2 people got shot and there were tons of fights. They broke up after that. If you want an all car meet, go to Texas Stardom at 9 pm on Thursdays. There are plenty of cars out there and most people are cool. at least no one shoots at you there.

That show is the other one I am talking about now that is in Frisco. It changed locations.

I did find a local site and all of the peopel seem really cool. A bunch of the VW/AUDI people have already went on and signed up.
They even gave us our own forum because of the interest.

you might want to gauge interest with these guys too, they seem to do quite a bit in the area and have a variety of cars

That is funny because that is the site I found. They are pretty cool and even gave us our own forum today.

yeah i just saw your main thread bout them after posting. You beet me to it. Had found it about a week ago for a freind with a tiburon as he was complaining he couldnt find a tiburon local group.Its a good site. I know what you mean, I have like 6 sites I post on. It's nuts but I don't mind because I am meeting lots of new people here.

If they aren't black now you should get them powder coated because they look great!!
