I bought my 2001 M3 used, and am looking to make sure I have everything that came with it when new. Can you guys tell me what all came in the leather owners manual case that came with you car, and also how many keys you got?
I have 2 keys with mine (the ones with the buttons), but I read somewhere that you can get a valet key as well? Are these avilable from the dealership?
Pics would be great?

No "Valet" key now days, just the 2 masters and the palstic job...
should get a nice leather-ette case with a manual and some warranty bits in it for the glovebox.
Or is that one Valet Key and no plastic job?
no idea, since there were just three keys I have no clue which they left out but IIRC it was because people were breaking into cars to steal the Valet Key out of the glovebox where many dealers placed them, and some owners kept them.

and as I was alluding to above 2003.5 is the start of the 3 key thing... same time as the LED lights started production... April IRRC.

Nope, just your basic M3 CCi that I chose to go off the menu for color.
didn't like any of the stock choices so I ponied up the 2k and got a color I loved.
the suspension has been totally replaced (full Groung Control w/ camber plates and sways) and the RG-4 wheels running 265/30f and 275/30r PSll's
fully tinted due to living here in the great desert. other than that, not much is different.
BTW, where in Erin are you?
I lived there for 2 years near Phoenix Park, in Castleknock.
