I had some fun with a lsb e46 this weekend and I thought I would share with you guys. It was sunday and it was a beautiful day outside. I was on 53N going to 90E to go downtown. Iam on the ramp merging on 90E and I see a lsb M3 on the highway. As soon as I got on 90E I hammered and within a little time caught up to him. As soon as he saw me approaching behind him he got on it right away and I heard the car and It had a exaust. I downshift to 3rd and start chasing him, not really gaining on him because my car is stock but just sticking with him. He slows down and I slow down because of minor traffic up ahead. As soon as he saw a opening he went for it and I was behind him about 3 cars and it just stayed that way. Finaly he went to the left lane and he got stuck by a car and I was able to go around him on the right lane and pass him. The toll on 90E was coming up and I saw him in my miror trying to make way to catch up next to me so we can go. I slowed down until he caught up to me on the next lane, cause I realy wanted to see how my car would do against his. He pulled up on the next toll, and he yelled lets go. Both the rams go up, I launch about 5500 rpm and come out of the hole very nicely with some wheel spin. I gained about a car length maybe a little less on him out of the whole but he was cathing up after 2nd and then we were both forced to shut down due to stopped traffic up ahead. He pulled up next to me and we both gave each other thumbs up. I asked him what he had on the car and he said he had the whole full Dinan Exaust, headers and something else I forgot what he said. He wanted to run me out of the whole because he wanted to see what his car would do against a stock M3. He had the smg so iam assuming I had the advantage because I think the smg cant launch over 1800rpm or something like that. The guy was cool as hell and his car looked and sounded awesome. It was my first run in with another M3 and it was fun.

Good run. SMG is nice, but the good ole clutch is still the way to go IMHO <-- not trying to start a flame fest here.

Paragraphs are your friend tho... :)

Everybody has their own opinions and what they like, but I would take a clutch anyday over the SMG. My opinion only.
