did this guy stick euro e28 headlights on his e30?
1995red318i 09-22-2004, 05:37 PM good pics!
marco415 09-22-2004, 10:05 PM Actually those headlights came off of a Jetta, I think an A2 Jetta, buddy of mine was playing around at his body shop, wanted to see what it would look like on my car, we had a brand new set of these 7” lights, the only thing we had to do was some light metal cutting, these lights are a little deeper then the E30 lights. It takes some getting used too, not everybody likes the look, they kind of grow on you, gives the E30 a new look. With these lights, you can add the day time bulbs if you want, still playing around with them, need to fill them out with some plastic rings to give it a stock look. Going to try to use the grill headlight rings from a euro 535.

Hollywood Hamilton 09-22-2004, 10:37 PM That 2002 is not actually a turbo, it's just badged so.
The guy that owns the car just moved here from Texas.
tauremini-Any news on the mirrors?
marco415 09-23-2004, 02:05 AM We've been on Taraval for 20 years, but current owner is Andre has been there for 10 years, Bimmer owners stop on by if you're looking for somebody to do major work. We got an E36 M3 Auto in the shop now Andre is converting to stick. Also Engine swaps, turbo installs, custom work. Need a rally car setup, Auto-Cross, or just want to bring in your wheels you bought from Tire Rack, and have them installed, we can that also. Audio/Video installs also, it’s not really a pimp your ride shop, but if that’s what you want, we can do that.

Hollywood Hamilton 09-23-2004, 02:12 AM We sold parts to Eric's Foreign Car Service. Good People! I recommend them over Phaedrus...
liquidtiger720 09-23-2004, 03:10 AM is it okay if i ask how much you are charging that guy to swap?

I think I was out back walking around the graveyard when you guys showed up and we never crossed paths.

No mirrors yet. Their friends came back in today. A couple of my buddies wanted to start som isht there with em, but I want them to think everthing is cool so their buddy with my mirrors comes back in. I guess someone else saw them at Arden Fair mall the other day. BTW, my parts guy asked oe of the ruskies today why he was replacing his mirror lenses. He responded, "They're really easy to steal". ............A$$hole
marco415 09-23-2004, 01:06 PM The owner brought in his own transmission, so it was mostly labor and misc parts on that 95 M3 job, I think the job was no more then $900. We also did a e36 325i while back also.
