Did you get pwn3d by a bunch of P-cars? :D SG_M3 09-19-2004, 11:49 PM No, his own car pwned him. I just drove slow. 1:26's slow :devillook Better catch up Mr. racecar driver. Scho 09-19-2004, 11:52 PM BMW's are teh gay!!!! Especially slow boosted ones that last 2 sessions. Sean's car + Mike Driver = Teh FAST!!! When is BBC posting the video???? :rolleyes :rolleyes :rolleyes snk328is 09-20-2004, 12:06 AM 1:26's slow :devillook Better catch up Mr. racecar driver. I know when not to shoot my mouth. I highly doubt I can do 1:26's, especially knowing that the 1st place qualifer at the last club race was running 1:23's. You're getting pretty damn close. Why don't you go racin'? :D Scho 09-20-2004, 12:26 AM I know when not to shoot my mouth. I highly doubt I can do 1:26's, especially knowing that the 1st place qualifer at the last club race was running 1:23's. You're getting pretty damn close. Why don't you go racin'? :D After I sell my car, and buy his, he might. I doubt he is selling now. Wanna club race in A Mod??? I know a car for sale! :evil2 snk328is 09-20-2004, 12:49 AM After I sell my car, and buy his, he might. I doubt he is selling now. Wanna club race in A Mod??? I know a car for sale! :evil2 So what went wrong with your car? Did the new components not help? I already bought my race car my friend. There's a big discussion on cages going on in the track section right now... UDM Motorsport 09-20-2004, 09:25 AM 1:26 is really fast...but dont think its fast enuf to race... damn J-stock and Spec Miata guys running around that time too. Scho....brakes didnt work well for u? Scho 09-20-2004, 11:43 AM The brakes kicked ass. I am still pulling my eyeballs off the windshield. I love them and even got to abuse Sean's for 4 sessions. My boost bontroller took a shit. I spiked to 20 psi on the front straight. Although that was fun, my motor did not like it. I have never felt a car pull that hard. I am selling this car now though. I am going to look for a stock 99 to pull double duty for a while. I wish Dale from Ground Control still had his car for sale!! Also, keep in mind Sean was pulling 1:26's in a full interiored car with streetable suspension and front race pads. I think it is damn fast for what it is. Imagine if he lost 300 lbs of weight and went to an AD setup. There would be even more Pwnage!!! Sean has the baddest ass pit crew and mechanic in town though!! :buttrock :D SG_M3 09-20-2004, 11:52 AM I know when not to shoot my mouth. I highly doubt I can do 1:26's, especially knowing that the 1st place qualifer at the last club race was running 1:23's. You're getting pretty damn close. Why don't you go racin'? :D Its all in jest, just some good old trash talking :D Congrats on the purchase, can't wait to see it sorted out. As for me racing, its in the future. Don't know how near it is though. I know I'm not out driving my current setup, i know its good for 1:24's- low 1:25's. But, i'm not there yet :devillook UDM Motorsport 09-20-2004, 12:18 PM sean....so details on your pit crew... so when will u pull the plug and install the cage? Did u get to eat that GT3 in your class? Scho, glad the pads worked out great for u...still curious why the sale? u'd prefer a NA car for racing? 20psi on the straight sounds FUN and fast!!! snk328is 09-20-2004, 12:21 PM Its all in jest, just some good old trash talking :D Congrats on the purchase, can't wait to see it sorted out. As for me racing, its in the future. Don't know how near it is though. I know I'm not out driving my current setup, i know its good for 1:24's- low 1:25's. But, i'm not there yet :devillook Thanks. It's going to be fun building this car. I'm looking for a used bolt-in cage as a stop-gap measure so that I can get the car prepped for December's SCCA race school. If you know anybody selling one, please lemme know! SG_M3 09-20-2004, 12:26 PM I let mike co-drive my car sunday, so we had to swap wheels and bleed brakes between every session. Ray, Mike and I pulled it off. I probably won't do a cage until I graduate next year. But you never know. The gt3 in my group was driven by a slower driver, easily passed. But an instructor took that car out and was very fast. Probably pulling eas 1:24's or less. There was also a gt3 Cup car, WOW, would be the only word for it. Considering i've only been doing DE's for a year, i figure i've done pretty well. But as i learned when I tried to stay on Dave Scott's tail, i've got a lot to learn. Austin 09-20-2004, 12:27 PM DE question: I found a cheap cheap 1986 325e 5speed. Should I buy ? Cheap as in couple hundred bucks. Already has rims on it all stock. Wasted interior so no guilt on gutting the car. Good car to have DE's in which I could sell later for e36 325 if I wanted to race something 'years' from now. SG_M3 09-20-2004, 12:28 PM The 325e would need a motor swap. The Eta motor was not known for its power. But any car is a good car to learn in. Just get good brakes on it, and have everything in top shape. snk328is 09-20-2004, 02:02 PM DE question: I found a cheap cheap 1986 325e 5speed. Should I buy ? Cheap as in couple hundred bucks. Track time is track time! If a cheap car is what it takes to get to the track, by all means do it! Rahul325 09-20-2004, 10:26 PM Austin, i think its a great idea to get a cheap car and hone ur track skills. at least u wont feel bad if something happens to the car :) CABimmer 09-20-2004, 10:50 PM Imagine if he lost 300 lbs of weight and went to an AD setup. :D Sean, just think after you loose 300lbs, you can take another 300lbs off of your car. ;) Im one to talk. :( SG_M3 09-20-2004, 11:33 PM I would weight -50 lbs then. But think how much faster i would be then :D Austin 09-20-2004, 11:46 PM Jenny Craig would be proud. You could have your own Subway commercial. Or be in the commerical with the hot 40 yr old lady and her Boflex. Scho 09-21-2004, 01:34 AM I am about to lose 3175 lbs off my car!!! :firedevil :ar15firin :bazooka :para: :bigun2 Lake Lewisville will be 3175 lbs heavier though.. hinzm3 09-21-2004, 02:13 AM um whats all this track discussion? The topic of this thread was bmws are teh ghey. That gt3 cup car was pure sex. Highlight of the track weekend was the gt3 cup car and the guy with the hot girlfriend pwning the trash can in his tacoma as we were laughing at his ass. QuestMCoupe 09-21-2004, 03:07 AM Ray is ghey for making this thread. Scho 09-21-2004, 10:41 AM Ray is ghey for making this thread. He has a very valid reason for making this thread and I have Ray's back. If he did not make it I was going to. BMW'S ARE TEH GAY!!!! :mad chunkyd 09-21-2004, 11:13 AM Ahhhhhh Porsche!! i love you..... Oh wait..... Whats that? DME Relay! huh... under the front seat? Cost $50 and goes bad quite often! .....Greeeeeeeeeeat! I hate you Porsche! nooooo nooo I LOve You....... Love Hate relationship fellas! I hate you Porsche! nooooo nooo I LOve You....... Love Hate relationship fellas! the DME and fuel pump relay costed only 22 bucks for my 325, but costed me 900$ to find it (culprit) :( Scho 09-21-2004, 01:45 PM Love Hate relationship fellas! NO, I am pretty sure mine is just hate! :stickoutt Not really, I love the car. It is fast as hell, but I must part with it. Anyway, my car will be posted for sale this week. Anyone in Dallas looking for a Turbo M3, let me know. :alright CABimmer 09-21-2004, 03:02 PM Mike, OK so why are you selling that beast. You have to expect to shell out some cash to have that kind of HP. I will give you 10k for it cash on the spot. If your selling parts, I will give you $200 for that new alum. radiator that you just bought. :D Scho 09-21-2004, 04:09 PM I am selling it because I do not care to try to track this car any longer. The learning curve is steep, and I do not want to use a smaller turbo to be able to track it. I will be picking up another M3 in the meantime to pull double duty, and I will probably buy a dedicated track car in January. I will entertain all offers and even trades. Austin 09-21-2004, 05:35 PM Hey I wanna ride in the car at least once before you sell it. I've only rode in one turbo M3 which was 4 door with a full cage and recaro seats. QuestMCoupe 09-21-2004, 06:12 PM Mike can I get a ride in it too before you sell it? Who knows when there will be another turbo M3 around. hinzm3 09-21-2004, 07:47 PM Can i atleast drive the mofugger? lol Fuck getting a ride Scho 09-21-2004, 08:51 PM Ray will be giving test rides in my car this Saturday at....blah blah. Ray you could have driven it anytime. Next time you see me, you can drive it.. hinzm3 09-21-2004, 09:04 PM Sweeeeet. My car is looking mighty ghey at the moment. Scho 09-21-2004, 09:06 PM Sweeeeet. I feel like my parents asking me what Bitchen means in the 80s. QuestMCoupe 09-21-2004, 09:19 PM Mike, let me know when we can get together. I've been contemplating FI for my car and want to feel it first hand even if its in the passenger seat. Scho 09-21-2004, 09:28 PM Sorry for being old and really out of it, but what is "teh Ghey" , :( Man I feel old. I feel like my parents asking me what Bitchen means in the 80s. It started from a typo of "the gay" hence we have "teh gay" I will use it in a sentence, "See Doug run. Doug is teh coolest!" :D Hooked on Forum Lingo worked for me..... SG_M3 09-21-2004, 11:39 PM mike = 1337 QuestMCoupe 09-22-2004, 01:25 AM I still dont get what 1337 means. snk328is 09-22-2004, 09:31 AM I still dont get what 1337 means. 1337 = L337 = LEET = short for "Elite" as in "1337 h4x0rz".
