Hi, all.
I know that the wheels included with the ZCS package for '05 are 19", and CSL style. But I'd really like to know whether they are the same widths (and with the same tire widths) as the regular 19" option.
I'm hoping that the package gives us 245 front and 275 rear. Am I asking too much? :evil2
Anyone know the actual size of the rim/tire setup on ZCS?

I'm thinking they are the same size 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 with the same size tires... or else BMW is going to have to figure out a way to recalibrate the speedometer so when people change wheels they can recalibrate them.
At this point in time, dealers don't have that ability.

That's a good point. I just wondered if anyone had a hard number on this. I actually didn't know the front 19's were 8.5". I thought they were 8.
I think all told, the ZCS pacage sounds like it's worth it -- if you like the CSL style wheels, and want the bigger brakes. Losing the steering wheel radio contros is a shame, though.
Thanx

They are (the stock 19" option available now) 19x8 and 19x9.5. The ZCS wheels I have heard will be these same dimensions, and forged as well (CSL wheels are cast). :redspot

CSL rims are cast?? :nono
That means that BMW went out of their way to develop a whole new rim for the M3 ZCS, yet couldn't find a way to let us keep the radio steering wheel controls (not to mention the cruise control) Hmmm.
Still worth the price of admission.

Yeup, if the ZCS wheels will be forged, that is most excellent news for us. :cool
I think the only reason the CC and steering radio controls are deleted is because it's a direct swap-in CSL alcantara steering wheel. Well worth it IMO, I don't have CC right now anyhow. :redspot
Oh let's not forget the CSL steering ratio, 14.5:1 :D
