i was wondering if anyone is going to the nopi national car show. i had other plans for the weekend but after the rain they were cancelled. looking to see if anyone is interested in going. we could meet and go down there together

I work about a quarter mile from AMS and I have to admit there is a cool vibe going on. I might swing by tonite (6pm) after get off work, Kendal might be there too.

I went today, though I missed the 2:00pm drift and after that it was canceled due to some cops thinking it was unsafe for spectators. I got about 99 pictures, I'll look through them and resize them, and maybe have them up tomorrow.

Anyone else go? If so, did you happen to check out what was in that white CRX that was in the burnout comp. Sounded like a V8.. LS1 maybe?

They cancelled the drift comp 'cause the guy in the white 240 hit a cement barrier, launched it through the fence, and it hit two people that were along the street. I think the girl had a broken leg and the guy had head and neck injuries.

funny thing was, as I was leaving, they were running tandem on the other course in different cars. Go figure.
