Speedfreak 09-17-2004, 09:43 AM I am very happy with the upgrade I did I did on my 2000 540i. I had Xenon but went the expensive route and upgraded to newer ones with A/Es. The new ones look much better and I believe are brighter than my old ones. There are less expensive ways to add A/Es. Do a search as there are several threads on the subject. Pat Phat Ham 09-17-2004, 01:35 PM AEs are awesome. They make the front end of the car look very modern, even when the lights aren't even on. S.Lang 09-17-2004, 04:35 PM This can be a tricky upgrade on a touring. Go here and find out why and how to do it. Hope it saves you some time: http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=221260&highlight=angel+eye Alin10123 09-18-2004, 03:38 AM I think they are REALLY cool. However... the upgrade is purely cosmetic in my opinion. So i guess it just depends on how much you like them. Speedfreak 09-18-2004, 07:15 PM The A/Es are purely cosmetic. I love them! If someone doesn't have Xenons, A/Es are a nice addition if you're making the change. I wanted the whole newer headlight look. D@mn expensive though. mikemaster 09-18-2004, 10:28 PM Definitely worth the cost!! Zack G. 09-18-2004, 10:32 PM Definitly do it, it's the small things that make a huge difference! :) jimmyz2 09-19-2004, 12:56 AM "Should I buy Angel Eyes?"..Do you have an Angel head?? :) stuntride 09-19-2004, 01:36 AM yes def, but do it yourself for very little money. i dont know where the link is but ill look for it, its pretty easy to do, just takes patience, but def do it umnitza 09-19-2004, 03:31 PM Here is what we recently did!
