Ok... its been about 2 weeks since ive had the car... currently at 1050 miles and im experiencing my first major problem already! THe passenger xenon headlight and xenon highbeam are out. The stock halogen high beam still works though.... can anyone tell me why this would happen so fast and if i can fix it myself?... it really sucks that im already unable to drive the car at night.....

You can't fix it yourself... the xenon bulb and assembly are extremely expesive. Most importantly, they are covered by your warranty. Drop it off... have them fix it.

yeah, i have an appointment for 7:55 tomorrow morning... lets hope they can fix it fast...

by the way, do you know what needs to be done at the 1200 service? replace engine, tranny and diff fluids.... anything else? Can i go in with jsut under 1200, or does it have to be at least 1200? thanks!

1200 mile service is engine oil, tranny fluid, diff fluid... I took mine in just over 1100 miles because I was going on a 900 mile road trip the day after. No problems.

Same thing happened to me @ 2700 miles, except it was the driver side.

Heh, I forgot, I have the papers in my car though I remember it was $403 :eek: (under warranty of course), and it was ready the next day, they did say they had to special order the part and it would be in the next morning.

yeah... my problem, like i said was an ignitor... on further investigation last night, i found that the hood didnt sit on the light properly either.... Apparently the light had a fualty ignitor AND the headlight was misaligned.... i find that extremely weird.... the car had 7 miles on it when i picked it up...

Happens occasionally during transport...
