OK.
I bought an M coupe that was serviced at Competition BMW in Long Island NY.

It has been 1 month since I have owned the car, and I had been complaining about how poorly built the car was, since it was rattling like crazy.

I must retract my initial complaint directed towards BMWNA, and point the finger at Competition BMW.

EVERYTHING they touched I mean EVERYTHING, was either put back together ALL wrong, and with broken parts. Broken clips rattling around in every corner they touched. Grease sprayed everywhere to hide rattles. Windows poorly adjusted etc...

They had gone into the doors, and must have done $75 dollars in damage on the drivers side alone.[/color]

They installed a phone, and detroyed almost every clip, stuffed wires and receivers into the glove area with nothing to hold them down so they danced around back there driving me nuts.

They stuffed an antena behind the rear panelling with only 1 piece of velcro. So you can imagine the rattles over EVERY bump.

Now when putting the rear panels back together for the phone, the sprayed grease!!!! on everything thinking it would illiminate rattles.

They took apart the hatch area for a latch recall, and broke 3 clips, and messed things up...

I was in shock at how much they broke, and simply how careless there work is.

I would strongly advise avoiding Competition BMW of Long Island for any service work.

did you complain to the service manager? then BMWNA?

I hope the dealer reads this.......

I am making a list of everything that was broken, then I will write a juicy letter, and send to them, and the head guys at BMWNA. And I have inside connections to make sure that letter gets there!!
