Passing this on from the BMW ACA Portland, I'll be there it should be fun.

An excellent opportunity has come our way, thanks to Rasmussen BMW (http://www.rasmussenbmw.com)! We have been invited to participate in the first annual Columbia County Oktoberfest. Staff from Rasmussen are helping to coordinate the event and have invited club members to display our cars in a special section next to the entrance of the Columbia County Fairgrounds (http://www.co.columbia.or.us/Fairgrounds/Directions.asp) in St. Helens. We always enjoy showing our cars and talking to people about why BMW's are so special.

The car show is scheduled for Saturday, September 25th, starting at 10:30 AM. Rasmussen will provide door prizes and five trophies.

Classes will include:

Best in Show, 1st & 2nd place
People's Choice Award, 1st & 2nd place
Most "unique" BMW
If you don't want to prepare your car for judging, just give it a wash and drive on out!

With free admission to the Oktoberfest, you will enjoy some great food, listen to musicians, visit craft vendor booths, and have the opportunity to enjoy many different types of beer. You can even watch a tractor show and enjoy other "fun-filled" activities. Sounds like a fun day!

Our goal is to have at least 40 cars attend this event. For more information contact Brian Cone at bcone@bmwacaportland.com.

Cool. If time permits - I might be going.

FWIW - PacificFest - for older Bimmers is this upcoming weekend at North Plains.

http://www.pacificfest.com/

While the site tells you that pre-77 BMWs are welcome - everyone is welcome - but "featured" parking is only for pre-77 cars.

Ron.
