I need opinions: Is is ok (i.e. safe) on a clear coat car to have a car wash squirt on some of that liquid wax (supposed to last 30 days) in a pinch. My car might need a little waxing, but I am in the process of moving and can't do a proper job for about a month. What do you guys think? (Did a search and could fing nothing on this question.) :)

I think any wax on a clearcoat would be ok.
It's the cleaner waxes you have to watch out for. Quite abrasive from what I've read.

I'm not so sure that liquid wax they spray on at the end even does anything, it just sits on the surface and doesn't get worked into the paint. If you want a half ass quick "wax" try some of that NXT spray wax or quik detailer.

Quick Detailer has become one of my favorite tools to get the dust, etc. off my car in between washing's but it won't help you with the wax because it isn't one. I've always not trusted spray on waxes but I suppose if I absolutely didn't have time I might try one. (Although the day I don't have time to clean my car I might go crazy!)

don't waste your time with any quick wax, detailer, etc.. they all suck. none of them will do anything to protect your finish. you're better off just washing normally and wait until you have time to properly detail the whole thing.
