Im watching WJZ and they're interviewing fans and they keep saying how much of a "hero" he is and how humble. Humble:conf ? Hes in the Hummer with hordes of pre-pubescent girls screaming his name all while being surrounded by secret service guys blocking off a hugly popular road WHICH I NEED TO GET ON in my BMW in the MD/VA/DC area. It IS rediculous. I am truly embarrassed and feel terrible for all of our soldiers, police, and firemen, etc., who are actually HERO's but get no recognition.

There are tons of hero's that diserve more recognition on this day than this asshat... How about the 600+ firefighters, paramedics, police officers, and port authority employees that ran into burning buildings with complete disregard for thieir lifes just to save others. That is the definition of a hero. This makes me sick. :mad

p.s. I was a member of the Rockville Volunteer Fire dept for four years. I started out as an EMT, and them moved up to Fire. I met and was instructed by real hero's everyday I was there. This Phelps kid doesn't diserve to be called a "hero," in my eyes... an Icon... maybe. :rolleyes
