Uhh...remember that conversation about Ron at Performing Imports and the "little red" Dinan 540i he was building for the guy in Miami? The one with the "built motor" that had once been a Stage3 Dinan (auto) setup but it wasn't fast enough for the owner. Well, now he's got the M5 6-speed tranny with the Dinan Stage 2 clutch/flywheel setup since the automatic handgrenaded on the inital dyno run.

I am writing this after just having taken a ride in it and I have no words to describe the power in the vehicle. We hit about 60 in easily no later than 4 seconds and in a blink we were at 120mph just in front of the little road in front of his shop......and then back down to 25mph as soon as I caught my breath.

We drove around with Ron at the wheel and it became quickly evident that there is not enough road in this town for a car like this. I kept hoping we'd run into some guy with a brand new Porsche or Ferrari (since we were in Alphaghetto) and ruin his day.....in a big way.

As for some of the opinions of him and his shop here on this forum, to each his own. All I have to say is: This man can build a motor and he has the fastest BMW in Atlanta -- bar none.

A word to wise: If you see a red 540 with FL tags, I'm sure Ron will run you. Just be careful that your doors are locked so they don't come off......

A. Why is he fucking around so much if it is a customer car???

B. I highly dout it does 0-60 in 4 seconds when my car is doing it in 4.3...

C. Without any doubt Kendal has the fastest BMW in Atlanta, if not in the whole US.

D. So this is just a NA built motor 540???

hahaha.... NO. I'd like to see him run it with my brother, then he can run it with Kendall :D Kendall's actually making over 600hp and he's got REAL dyno's to prove it :lol

oh yeah, Kendall's car is about 800 pounds lighter than that 540, plus weight difference in driver's, I think kendall's probably got a good 1000 pounds advantage

damn, i saw that red 540i....hmmm probably about a year ago. that thing looked like it was going to be sick, Ron(i think was his name) that drives a 1fast7, 7, said that thing was going to be putting around 900 hp, said the owner spent like $35,000 on the car and another $90,000 :eek: on mods

Kendall would DESTROY that car. I think I would walk it too. ;)

Kendall would love to come by and my brother has a digital camcorder. If Ron wants to, he can bet on it, i'll bring money. We'll get it on tape and distribute it all over the net.

How much HP is amirs car putting out. I'd want to see that race too. I think kendals car would win just because of the huge defference in weight.
