K, I was going home today on the 101 (South) and past the 202 maybe by broadway, there was a bike cop sitting under there gunning people going north. Now, I was doing a little over 90 when I saw him and slowed down. Thank God he was gunning people the other way. My point is, my V1 didn't pick up shit!! Even after I past him!! That is the second time that has happened. The first time was on rural by campus. I know this has been talked about before, but what is the deal?!!?!?

How sure are you that he had his radar on? I was driving down the 51 one day and there were about 4-6 cop bike within 3 miles of eachother. All sept for one were talking with eachother with the radar off.

i think my v1 went kaput too....cuz it hasn't been picking up the usual false alarms on my drive to work. and, before, it usually goes nutz w/ K-band (or one of those bands) when i drive thru the airport drop-off area (because of all the motion-sensor doorways), but now it just stays silent.

Im pretty sure that the cops have something new right now. I live in ahwatukee and theres a motorcycle cop always on this one road, and we've had him pointing right at me and friends and it wont set off any of our detectors......kinda scary

flip, shouldnt these still set them off? the v1 my dad has is old, but even all the new ones my friends family has doesnt go off...or do i just know nothing? :stickoutt

laser is a tiny beam, it pretty much has to hit your radar detector right-on to set it off. the laser can hit your bumper, and it may not set off a radar detector.

Bike cops almost always use laser in AZ.. unless it's pointed right at you, you're most likely not gonna get anything.... laser is very direct and narrow.. you'd be lucky to catch any scattering....although..

one time driving.. I got hit by laser 3 times.. it was a patrol car with the cop hanging out the window..

there were 2 other cars next to me.. u don't suppose the cop would be ass enough to hit me 3 times?!? i'm assuming i picked up scatter from when he hit the other cars, which were infront of me....

Havn't caught any laser readings in AZ yet. That laser warning sound on the passport freaked me out the 1st time. So loud.

dam tonight after i left hooters on 83rd ave and bell, there was like 9 motorcycle cops around it was wierd..
