I would love to be able to wax my car every 3 months, but in reality I don't have the time.

What's a good product that lasts a long time and is easy to apply and remove? Also, something that doesn't create a nightmare trying to remove from the trim? I've heard that Klasse products can even be used on the trim without any problems. Is that true?

Thanks
Pete

I have been using a car polish which used to go by the name of "Racers Edge" but is now sold as "Driven" or "Driven to Perfection". It can be applied as little as once or twice a year and can be applied in the blazing sun to the whole car--then wiped off the next day or week no problem. Of course it would be better in the shade but the point is, you can. I found the stuff years ago being sold at our county fair and have used it ever since. It is not a wax but some kind of polymer recipe. There are also other products such as wash, leather rubber & vinyl, etc. Just do a Google on driven car polish. I always buy it in bulk at the fairs as the prices are half the online rate which is $20. I just bought 4 bottles at the state fair for $40. Use it on your paint, glass and chrome. Once applied, if you get stains or hard to get off grime on these surfaces just dab on more polish and work it off. I used it on my chrome motorcycle muffler just the other day after my cover touched it while still hot leaving some melted goo.
I am surprised more people do not use it. Good luck...

Try Klasse All-in-one and Sealant Glaze. Great shine lasts a good 6 months.

Thanks for the replies. I'm leaning a bit more towards the Klasse products and have a few questions.

Klasse supposedly doesn't leave marks on trim.

Does this mean I can be completely careless getting it all over the trim or should I still be careful? Or should I intentionally cover the trim as well?

This is actually for a 2005 Sequoia we just bought. I was planning on:
1) Washing with Dawn
2) Claying
3) Washing with Dawn
4) Applying Klasse SG or AIO

Any problems with only using the SG sealant? My interpretation from what I've read is that it's basically the same as the AIO without the polishing.

No point in washing a 2nd time with dawn. Just use regular car soap. I'd use AIO first followed by SG. After claying, you're going to need some surface prep prior to using SG.
