I would like to invite all of you out to a multi-club meet on Saturday, September 25th at the West Hill Pavilion of Sugarhouse Park (1300 East 2100 South). It's going to start at 3 pm and we'll have a BBQ and a show 'n shine. Our goal isn't to have a bunch of show cars there, but rather to see everyone's clean street cars. This is the second year I've organized this meet, and since last year there was such a big showing from the BMW crowd, I thought I'd be sure to invite all of you again. This year it's sponsored by OCDetails rather than Autopia. We've made some improvements from last year too. Those of you who attended last year probably noticed 1) it was called a BBQ, but there was no BBQ present and 2) judging took forever. This year, both problems have been solved. We will have a grill there (BYOM) and judging will be based on participant voting rather than judges. I think we've all been to car shows that get dragged out for hours, and I believe I have remedied that problem. Last year we had a great turnout, and I'd like to see that happen again. Anyway, let me know if you guys want to come out, or if you have any questions.

Here's a few pics from last year's meet:

Maybe we should make Saturday's run again...

I was actually thinking of doing it myself. Not sure who else would want to drive that far again. It's either that or this other canyon... I'm going to check things out this week and see which is worth driving. I may setup another East Canyon drive where we head up and turn around.

I'll have to make another thread. Sorry for the hijack.

Well, now that this thread has nothing to do with the show, I'll throw this out and leave it up to you guys. If you can hold off on the canyon drive, I've got one planned for the Saturday after the show. We'll meet on October 2nd at noon in the parking lot of the Kohler's grocery store in American Fork at 5353 W 11000 N. From there we'll head up the canyon and run the Alpine Loop over to Sundance and then go up Provo Canyon to Heber, where we'll have lunch at Dairy Keen. Neither event is BMW-specific, so bear that in mind with your decision to attend.
