I've got it working and it does the next tracks when in cd/dvd mode and channels when in Sirius and Tuner mode w/my new head unit...

Can it also be programmed so that if it's held down it will FF thru the tracks like the stock way that it worked?

I had one in my MINI and no, it's a momentary switch which doesn't respond to held commands. If you hold it down it will only repeat the command it's intended to do, not switch to alternate command. Sorry. But really, how much FF are you doing? If the track sucks that much, just go to the next. :stickoutt

OK, that's pretty much what I figured...I would use this feature more for say, live tracks that have a long intro or when they talk for a long time before the song actually starts..and the same for FF through parts of live dvd concerts or parts of movies without having to grab the head unit remote.

At least I can do chans and vol which is mostly what I'd do anyways...thanks!
