Well, i've had my car to this place two times in the past 2 months and heres what happened:
2 months ago my V-belt broke. I took it to them and they fixed it in a orderly matter. They also insisted that the front ball joints urgently needed replacement so i gave them the ok. I also told them that my powersteering pump had been leaking- and that that is probably why the belt broke. They insist that it is in proper working order and that they should just replace some other suspention components, as well as the belt... Again, i gave them the ok. I figured, "hell, im splurging by going to this nice, 'top of the line' service place anyway so i might as well get everything done right". I came out with a $650 bill. Keep in mind i went in for a $150 belt repair

Well, my power steering continues to leak. I am starting to get second thoughts about this company, but the popularity of the bavarian name overwhelms them.

A month later my belt snaps again- and in the process blows off my radiator hose (the big top one) and cracks my radiator. I tow the car back to bavarian and they begin to tell me why the belt snapped. They tell me that the antifreeze dripped on it. "NO" i say... the hose blew off AFTER the belt snapped. They continue to go through scenereos until they find a possability. Bottom line- they arent covering the repair. Again, i insist that the Power Steering is still leaking and that somethings up. They come back saying everythings fine with the Power Steering- and here's your $650 bill.

I'm Pissed... that makes $1300 worth of repairs in less than 2 months!!

Well, my differential has recently started to shake with acceleration. I brought the car to a shop in New London, PA and they begin to tell me whats wrong with my car: The PS pump need replaced and the rear end is shaking from Bavarian not making ANY attempt at re-aligning my car (reguardless of the $125 charge for it). The shop owner continued to tell me that he used to work for bavarian and he quit because of their extreme and open dishonesty and other unethical business practices.... Wow this company really is really starting to turn my stomach

So here i am, getting everything fixed for $300 from a local shop that BAV didnt fix after $1300. Most all my problems came because of bav's stubborness of not even looking at my PS pump, as well as their dishonesty (whats up with charging me for an alignment i didnt get?).

I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO A BAVARIAN EVER AGAIN! It may just be this particular shop, but if bav wants to keep customers they need to examine the shops running under their name and close up the ones that are not up to par with their $80/hr service charge! :rolleyes Me and the people in the world of euro cars are not up for paying $80/hr for HALF-ASSED LABOR!

I will be SURE to always mention my experience with the Kennett Square Bavarian Auto to anyone who will listen....

I am perfectly aware that bavarians around the country have one of the best reputations as an all-around great place. I'm not particularly crashing on the Bavarian name, but instead this particular shop. However, being that it is under the bavarian name, i feel it should meet a better standard :shifty
