Any one knows of any other place to get headers for the M10? Bavauto wants something like 500 bucks for one.
I am building an 80's technology 320. I have now 2 dellorto DHLA sidedraft carbs, my father is going to take care of my 121 head (from a 2002) and am looking for a good header. I am going OLD School.
got also a 325, so that is going to be my high tech/electronic weapon lol :D

I have the Bav Auto header, Cat By-Pass Pipe and , an Ansa rear section and I also have a Stahl Race Header. I might have the Bav Auto/Ansa section sold, I'm just waiting for a call back. I'm still debating about selling any of this stuff, thinking that I might use it someday on my other car (which I doubt will never happen).

Check out Top End Performance they have a good product. I have one of their rear strut braces for my E21 and it is a good quality solid piece.

I have a header from Top End Performance. The quality is good, and they are cheap. Around 150 bucks I think.

GJ that is what I am looking for, the header and cat by-pass. Don't want to cut the factory cat. Once the car passes inspection the factory stuff goes on storage......
I have to go see the car, since you finished it already.

Hey pat I have the header from BA and it was only $325.
Heres a trick that I used twice; in there 2002 cataloge they misprinted and priced it at $325 rather than $375 as it is now. But since they misprinted it say you are ordering it from the Spring/Summer 2002 cataloge.
Dont know if it will work but I did it twice last time being 6 months ago.
I am very happy with mine and there is no discoloration after 20k miles
msds makes headers for the m10...their website (http://www.msdsinc.com/exhaust_1.htm) does indicate that it fits in 320i's.
and there's potentially a group buy being setup on r3vlimited.com......m10 MSDS headers for $126 (includes shipping) (http://www.r3vlimited.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=10454&highlight=320i)
BUT, the m10 headers they sell are NOT direct bolt-on....you'll need to weld it to the rest of the exhaust.

It's one of those things where I WISH I had the money to spare for that. But a header comes after suspension right now, so....

That is a good idea CJ. Jason, if I can get the guys at the exhaust shop to make a flange so it can be disconnected, i'll join in.
Now for another question: does any one knows if a header for a 2002 will fit a 320i?? I saw a Stahl for 150 (on fleabay) and some other "antireversion header" for 259

Cool! I have this setup myself. Great sound, nice power gains. Would recomend an exhaust upgrade if you don't have one already.
Bye,
