I'm wandering around the aisles of my local wheelhead emporium and I spot NuFinish. From the depths of my memory comes that cheesy television commercial about NuVinyl...
Once a year? Where does this product sit in the pantheon of car-care products we know, use, and love?

It's actually not a bad product, a one step, all purpose combination polish/cleaner and wax. It goes on easy, comes off easy.
If you're not super-anal or if you're just plain pressed for time, it's not a bad product to use.
I wouldn't use it on a brand new paint job, and I wouldn't use it on an old oxidized paint either, and I wouldn't use it on a dark colored car (like Black, dark blue, etc...) but it's cool for something in between, though.
If your car's paint is between 1-5 years old, in pretty good shape and you have a medium colored or light paint job, NuFinish is cool.
I'd say it's similar to Meguiar's Cleaner Wax product. Not a super strong polish/cleaner, and not a super hard shell/wax, either. But it's decent, holds up well, produces a nice shine, and it's real easy to use, not a lot of elbow grease required...
I've used it in the past. It seemed to last pretty long. Water would bead up for months. Comes off pretty easy too.

I thought the bottle said it was NOT for clearcoat paint?
A strong cleaner/wax might rub through the clearcoat in a few applications.

Here's the official page for <a href="http://www.nufinish.com/products.html">Nu Finish and Nu Vinyl</a>.
I don't see mention made of a clear coat, but then again, I'm not reading the fine print on the back.
