Has anyone used the Amsoil Waterless Car Wash? I just bought a bottle of it to try it out. Instructions basically say, spray on dirty surface and wipe with terry cloth.
The dealer claims that it will not scratch the surface.

Somehow I think it would scratch. Unless it has the ability to desolve grit without wrecking the paint. If it does desolve grit or stop the grit from touching the paint I would be amazed.

Sounds like a gimmick to me too.
Might not be able to see the scratches the first time. But after a few waterless washes I'm sure your ride will start to look like brushed aluminum.

It seems a little too convenient to me. Everyone, including the folks at carcareonline, make a point of repeating the mantra of friction = scratching.
If you're hell-bent on using up your purchase please try it out (a few times) on a spare body part you got from a junkyard or on a part of the car the eye doesn't immediately jump to, perhaps the bottom parts, below the rubber door mouldings?
Again, tho, it seems a little impossible.
