OK, so I finally got around to uploading the few pics I took at the last SD AutoX. Joey came out with his '81 e21 and I was able to snap a few pics of it in better light. He and I are going to install the arms from the Group Buy this weekend, so I'll probably be able to get some more shots then to add to this.

BTW, like I mentioned before in the monster thread, Joey is going to take this car AutoX'ing. He is hoping to get out there for the next CCA one in Sep, but we'll see if it is ready. Hopefully my e21 will be ready, since I'm itching to get out there too. I'm going to try and convince him to play around in 4 Stock for now, but he is talking about eventually getting springs, so who knows what else he's going to do too. He's already asking about what else he NEEDS for it, and I gave him a list I made the other night of what he should get done before going out. You should have seen his eyes light up when he started thinking about it!

So is everybody ready for THREE e21's at the next CCA AutoX? Jonas and his dad will be out there in the 323i (both driving it I think). Maybe even four if we can get 1ton320i out there with his S14 powered monster. Atilla and CJ....you guys down for a trip to make it Five-Six?????

YUP!!! We hold our CCA chapter AutoX's at The Q (Qualcomm Stadium). This was in the West Lot, right behind Ikea and Lowe's, as you have seen. Bummer you didn't say anything about being down, although I wasn't in town anyway. But other's were.

As an update on the cars though, I figured out that my M3 battery is too big for the tray up front. But that's OK since I think that the TEP rear bar is going in this weekend too, so I can put it on that in the back. I test fitted the M3's battery and it does fit in the bar. So I'll have to wire it all up and hope Joey can help me drill the holes since I have NO power tools. Didn't get the fenders rolled today, but maybe Joey can help me with that in the morning too.

Yeah, Doug, sorry about not being able to help with the fenders... I was pre-occupied most of the day... However, now that i have my wheels i really need to get the fenders rolled on the 5er as well...

On a side note, I spoke to my dad yesterday and mentioned the autox... He says he doesn't know if he is going to do it, but it seems that i have him pretty well convinced that even if he isn't going to let me use the 323... I told him to consider it a late bday present and all of that stuff... so, at this point its looking as though i'll be in the e21!
