I know this isn't much compared to some kill stories, but since it's my first I was happy.

I was leaving school a few days ago, when I noticed a red Civic with the full body kit, obligatory decals all over, huge wing, and even E36 M3 replica mirrors. I figured I would toy with the guy, so I let him catch up to me at aobut 20mph, and I revved my engine. The guy did nothing.. He stays right behind me up to the next light, at which point I see him reaching into his back seat, pulling down the seat and playing with something (NOS I later found out). We drive through to the next light, it turns red with us both in front. The light went green and not thinking he was gonna want to race, I just went normally. I heard him gun it, and about a second later I was on it. It took me about 3 seconds to catch back up to the kid, then it was all over. To 100 I beat him by about 2 car lengths.

We pulled over at a bank down the road and he shows me his NOS tank in the back, I believe it was a 50 shot. Usual mods under the hood, intake, header, plug wires, ignition, and exhaust. I'm sure he had a few other tricks, I don't see many 18 year kids with Movado watches around here. Cool guy, turns out he's in one of my criminal justice classes. I really didn't expect to win once I saw him turning on his NOS; God I love my car. :alright

Good kill, i'm surprised someone that ignorant hadn't blown up their motor yet with a nitrous kit. I had a 50 shot back in the day on my 00 civic ex with i/h/e and i took out wrx's, type R's, a E36 M3 vert and all sorts of stuff, it was a ton of fun till i realized i was spending 50 bucks a week filling that freaking bottle :)

The nos must of done alot for you with your civic, because I was dead even with an ex that was turboed with h/i/e. And we raced off the line and from a roll in which he slightly pulled on me in that race, but that was even before I got my pullies and deleted resonators.

Yeah someone pick one and answer this:

Is it nos > turbo kit or nos < turbo kit and since we're talking about the civic ex then for this particular car??????

NOS can make huge power gains but only for short amounts of time (when you're actually squiting it in)

once a turbo spools, it too can make varying (spel) amounts of power.

turbo is better than nos in just about every factor except price.
