Hey guys,

So we are getting the wheels started on re-vamping norcalbmw.com site for its new launch. Im going to start off by doing a cool new splash page, and then work on the header and footer for the forum pages and then get the forum colors to match the new design.

But I need some cool photos to work with, after all we will need photos of cars right?

Photos dont need to be crazy high-res since this is just for the website but they do need to be high quality and cool. If you guys want to have a discussion about what criteria the photos should have Im open to that. Should we have stock looking cars, or modded cars... etc..

good question. Id say norcal perferable, but if I dont have much to work with I'll use whatever is good.

In my opinion, we should have a BayBimmerz style site which you can see all the cars of the NORCALBMW guys. :) Also, all cars which are on the site should be Northern California cars...would be kind of lame IMO if we had a SoCal BMW or something for a main image.

As far as picking a car for the image, people can contribute pictures of there cars or other NorCal BMW's and we can vote for them in a thread. :redspot

The site is really just going to revolve around the forum, although I do plan on having some rotating homepage content to promote upcoming events, and we can also do that to member profiles. The profiles would probably just end up being a thread on the profile category. make sense?

Thing is we arent really building some super-site from the ground up, just retrofitting whats currently there so we need to use the technology we have.

Thing about images is sometimes certain angles will work better with a certain design. So I feel like I need a pool to choose from. Thats why I started this thread.
