I passed a Porsche on my way home, fliped around, and caught up. He started playing with me behind him. Before I knew it, he was pulling in his driveway. He got out and came over to me and started talking. We exchanged compliments for the cars, and I said "I've never gone against a Porsche." He said "let's find a real road" and we left again. We lined up on a long, stright road and went at it. He wiped the floor with me! He won by a good 9 car lengths or so. It was an '84 944 with less than 100,000 original miles. After I lost, we talked for about an hour and he took me for a spin! That was awesome. We did some 360's and he showed me just how well a Porsche can corner. We took some corners in the Porsche like they were nothing, that my Bimmer wouldn't even be able to touch. It was incredible! Talk about riding on rails. :D

:D The 944 TURBO's been the HOT TICKET for years for tracking at road courses. It's easy to MOD em to 300 RWHP. and getting their weight below 3000 lbs.

:) A friend of mine has his 944 T set up for the track. Full gutted interior with roll cage, modified syspension supports, BIG RED Brakes, and he puts down 370 hp. to the rear wheels. That thing is Hella Fast and he gives me a good run!

944 turbos are failry easy to reach high power #'s with, but I heard maintenance is quite high. Well if you take care of it, it's all good. Light and powerful, those modded 944 turbos.
