I know a lot of people have window problems, I've read through tons of threads but they didn't help my specific problem.
I have a 94 325ic, and when I first bought the car the windows worked fine, then they all went out for about a 2 weeks, then they came back on, and they have not been working now for the past 2 months.
I replaced the module behind the dash with no success, tried looking for the comfort relay, and there is nothing next to the brown relay where the comfort relay should be, not even a harness/plug. I've Replaced the fuses in the fuse box, that didn't work either. And I'm just out of ideas.
Does anyone know if the convertible has a comfort relay, if so were is it located.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. :help
I really don't wanna have to take it into a shop

Did you take the switches apart and make sure they're not all carboned and gunked up? My driver's window started not working. The switch was just very dirty. I cleaned the contacts, and it works like a champ.

Not to mention the fact that the lightbulb in the switch doesn't work anymore. :stickoutt

I don't think that's it, because that would mean all 5 switches would have had to been carboned and gunked up and stopped working at the exact same time. I'll still clean em up just in case, and also the lights work fine in the switches if that means anything.
I really think it's the comfort relay, but I have no idea where it is in the convertible.

I'm not too sure what a comfort relay is. If it's not that, maybe there's a break in the wiring somewhere? :dunno
Justin, light bulbs burn out. No biggie.
93BMW, if your switches don't light up anymore, the bulbs are just burned out. Take the switches out, run over to Napa, and get a few more bulbs. It's a pretty quick fix.

A lot of people that their windows stop working have a problem with the comfort relay. here's the fix for it: Comfort relay fix (http://members.roadfly.com/petah/e36comfortrelay.htm)
The spot where the comfort relay should be is empty, and there is no plug/harness either so apparently I either do not have one, or it is not in the same place.
