So I was on my way home tonite from the movies with my finace. We went to see Colateral, and I'm on the Dallas North Tollway heading south and I come up on a s40 who's burning oil or burning something he's got cail plates and won't leave me alone. I'm just minding my own bussiness on my way home traveling around 80mph, and he just keeps with me for about two or three exits speeding up and slowing down and after he's done his little dance about four or five times i've gotten tired of his silly butt, so when he speeds up again I go with him and pull about 1-2 cars on him maybe and he pulls maybe about a half a car on me but thats about it then we stay about the same hes about a car and a half behind me, and I shut it down around 135 because my exits comin up and there is also a small patch of slower traffic comin up. He just keeps on goin' and smokin' it looked like some 20 year old college guy who seemed like he had something to prove for some reason. I also didn't pay attention to if he was one of the turbo'ed s40's or not didn't really care, I just thought it was funny he wanted to race with his car all messed up. Anyway's score one for me :) :redspot

So you got your governor removed? Cause 525i's are limited at 130, trust me I know. ;)

haha i don't think that was me....but maybe i'll see you on the tollway sometime. I've got a st. mark's hockey sticker, PM me or something if you want to do some tollway runs (gotta love the tollway).
the governor must be removed, but i know it was at 135. I dunno if it was you unless you were out there last night around 12. it was a white s40, if thats your color.

the speedo may say 135... but actual speeds is probably a little lower than that... due to the speedo error
speedo can be off as much as a few % + 2.5 mph ... always reading FASTER than actual speed traveled

before i installed my chip, 130 is read 135 by the speedometer. '93-95 525i 5-spd will hit 152 at 6750rpm according to the speedo, which is likely more around 145-150. Trust me, i've seen mine do it :D
OK, I went to 135 and as soon as I got there I shut it down, I had no reason to keep going my exit was coming up very soon, I dont know if it would have gone farther or not. theres not really much of a point to this.
