Ok, I'm watching the Grand-Am series right now with my wife, and we are trying to figure out all the different races / series / category / classifications...Anyone care to simplify all the different 4-wheel motorsport races (minus Nascar) and their classes for a couple of newbies?
Thanks...

SRP: High powered, V8 and Turbo prototype cars (no roofs, not production based)
SRPII: Lighter weight prototypes, smaller engines. Not production based.
GTS: High displacement and turbo production based cars.
GT: Smaller displacement production based cars
AGT: "American GT", basically very similiar to Trans-Am cars; tube-frame cars with bodies like Mustangs, Corvettes, and Cameros.

Thanks! I have been reading their site and figuring out what's what, but how do you tell the difference between SRP and SRPII?

You just learn to tell by looking at them. The SRPII cars are a bit smaller and usually just don't look as beefy. Most of it comes with just watching. You learn which cars are which.
