Went out with my friends to Fayetteville Motorsports Park today. Temperatures were in the high 80's. I have the traction control deleted, airbox debaffled, and removed the spare tire. I was running my BFG g-Force Sports (225/50-16) with the rears at 26-27psi. The best run of the day was my first run; 14.68 @ 93.24mph. After that the staging area got a little wet and I had issues with spinning on the launch. I did later get a best trap of 94.76mph.

This makes me excited of what my M can do, knowing that it pulls harder than your car....I very well think this is one of if not the best 328 ET I've ever seen.

What the hizzle? My 328i ran a 16.7 at the track. Does stickshift make THAT much of a difference?

manual vs auto can definately make a big difference. Was everything running right when you went to the track? Because I went to the track right when I got my car and had a bad cam position sensor and I ran a 16.0
What kind of 60' did you get when you went?

Yup, best I've seen stock 328i do 14.5+ secs. Oh, must be stick and dump the clutch at 3000rpm though :)

Plus our track location is one of the best out there, given the right conditions we can be considered way below sea level

Josie/BabyM has run low 14's in her 328...

Nice runs, man. What was your best 60' time of the day?

Thanks. I had a 2.19 60' on that run, which was my best launch of the day. I had a few 2.2's as well but had issues after a car dumped some soft of fluid in the staging area. I feel a LSD would benefit the launch after noticing the passenger side of my car is covered in rubber and VHT while the driver's side is clean. I really wish I could have pulled off another 2.1 60' on that 94.7mph run.

Those low 14's were with gears right? I really want to get rid of these 2.93's

Yeah, an LSD will allow for better traction at launch, and yes, I think Josie has gears...

doesn't she have like 3.93's? that would make a huge difference

I think it's 3.23's or 3.38's at most...

How do i find out what the 60' is? On the paper it says as follows:

Dial In:
Reaction:
I1:
I2:
I3:
MPH (I3)
I4:
E.T:
MPH:
Over/Under:

I1 = 60'
I2 = 330'
I3 = 1/8th mile
etc...

You get that 60' time to even just a 2.2 and you could see 15's in your car...
