I have a UUC stainless steel exhaust with DTM tips on an E36 97 M3 that I am willing to trade for a stock M3 muffler. The exhaust sounds throatier than the stocker and I have enjoyed every minute of owning it the last couple of years. However, my wife and neighbors would beg to differ. I paid close to $700 new. It is the "single can" not the "twin silencer." Thus, I have decided to seek a stock M3 muffler. (I sold my stock piece when I installed the UUC piece.)
I live in L.A. so probably this trade will work out only for someone else similarly situated. We could both drive to the same shop to have the exchange done at the same time.
I am not interested in selling since the shipping charge will not be insignificant. Even though it is lighter than the stock piece, it still weighs around 25 pounds, versus 49 for the stock muffler. (Figures taken from the UUC website; I did not actually weigh these pieces.) Email me with any questions.
