Hey all, I am following up on my post last week about a BImmer geek out. Here are the details if you want to join up and enjoy one of the first nice weekends we've
had in too long.
This is open to bimmer and vw/audi drivers. If you live in CT or nearby in Westchester please come we want as many people as possible. Here are the details or the
plans...we will meet at Waveny Park in New Canaan....this isn't exactlty central to Connecticut people, but I figure that its not a bad meeting point if we include the
NY pilots.

Upon getting everyone together, we will then take a drive up north on Route 7 where we will stop at a park near Candlewood lake where we will have a CAR B Q
and refreshments as well as burgers hot dogs and veggie burgers will be served. At this point we will have a chance to talk about cars, wine, song, or whatever
you're interests are.

The drive up and around the park area is quite scenic and interesting to drive if you've ever been around there, and the park has a nice waterfall and picnic tables. If
the park should be closed we can drive further up and hit a Mexican food place that i've grubbed at before....not much of a novelty as much as a back up plan.

Here are the directions to Waveny park, meet at NOON PROMPTLY AS WE ARE LEAVING THE PARK BY 12:40!!!!

From the Merrit Parkway: Take exit 37 off of the Merrit, turn left. Go straight for less than half a mile, and you'll see the park entrance across from the Church of
Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Turn left into Waveny Park. Follow the road through the woods, carefully its pretty winding. Do NOT go into the first parking lot.
Instead follow the road up to the main house and there will be a parking lot on either side of you, one dirt and one paved. Depending on which one is the emptiest
we'll be waiting in that one. I'll find you….look for red E30 ///M3.
