Hello, my purchase of aluminum doors from an E36 3.2 M3 EVO in England fell through.

I am very keen to get some aluminum doors shipped to Seattle, WA, USA before the end of August to have on the car for the Sports Car Club of America Solo2 National Championships the 2nd week of September.

All E36 M3 3.2 EVO Coupe and the 95 M3 GT had these aluminum doors. I am looking for the complete door, interior panel, intact glass, in any color, in good condition.

If anyone in England or Europe can assist me in locating these from a parts yard, I would be very appreciative. Thanks in advance for any help.

I will have a word with my contacts over here, just so you know not all Evo's have the ali doors, just the early ones.

thanks rory, let me know soon if you can. if i can't find a source by this wednesday, i will pull the trigger on a brand new set from here in the us. i called pretty much every bmw wrecker there over a few late nights (12am-2am ish) :( the three salvage evo 3.2s i did find had the aluminum doors. one set was sold to a local instead, one car the manager decided keep and make into a racecar, the other was a theft recovery and was not being parted out.

I have had no luck so far mate, just thought i would keep you updated.

Rory, thank you for your help. I've also been contacting multiple parts yards in the UK with no luck, although I have managed to find a few breakers with aluminium doored EVO 3.2 cars at FAB Direct, Douglas Valley Breakers and Notting Hill. I've tried at maybe 2 dozen others to no luck.

In any case, I've found a source with heavy discount for new alu door shells here in the US. The heavy discount is only means the US path would be sane :). The cost will be several hundred US$ more than sourcing from the UK but I think it's the only way to get these before the Solo 2 Nationals.
