I plan on buying my wife this car to haul my 2 year old son around (black/black/stick/base model). I am thinking about getting the base model instead of getting the sport package. It doesn't seem worth the extra money since I plan on putting after market wheels and springs on it anyway. And the sport steering wheel, adjustable sport seats aren't that important to us either. Anyway, here are the questions I have:
1) Overall, how do you like the car (positives/negatives)?
2) How much did you pay (with what options)? Is it possible to buy these cars under MSRP? If so, by how much?
3) Is the auto climate control standard? On the web site it says that it is, in the brouchre it says it is only avalaible with the premium package.

1. the 325xi in my area have a wait... u have to order them for germany,

2. base package? well if you get leather, heated seats, blah blah blah, everything except all the upgraded stuff, it will be a nice tight ride.....

for a car like base w/ some options, heated leater, sun roof etc..... i was quoted 34,740 @ my local bimmer dealer.....
