......cuz I am going to Miami again :) There will be more pics and this time I shall try and be sneaky so I can get the NWS to stay on my cam. I know you guys will miss me and all, but try and hold back the tears.

Since I am flying into Ft. Lauderdale, maybe Kevlar will be nice enough to give me a ride to Miami :)

Good, Ft Laud airport is easy to fly into and get around in, Miami airport SUCKS. A quick drive down 95 and you're in Miami, probably before you'd even get outta your terminal in Miami.

I'll be in Miami Sept 8-10 for biz, but I know we'll pay south beach a visit at some point.. :devillook

Actually Miami is much easier for me. It's off LeJeune Rd, which is a straight shot to my aunt and uncles in coral gables.

I cringe when Miami airport comes into conversation. Lots of bad experiences there.

It's just an airport tho, sure you'll be fine. I still think you'd get there faster from Ft laud. ;)

My most interesting flight ever came from the Ft Laud airport.. Had a team of 8 folks with me down in Ft. Laud/Miami offices years ago doing some PC upgrades for offices there.. Well our return flight was overbooked, fools we were, we didn't give up our seat for another later flight, and the free extra delta miles. Nope, we took our flight, sat over the ATL airport for almost 3 hours (bad weather, very bad) got routed to Birmingham to land for fuel.. Get there, they don't have the right equipment to fuel our plane quite right, 2 hours later they get it figured out, back in the air to ATL, float for another hour in air traffic, land, sit on the runway for an hour, get in, wait for our luggage for an hour and a half.. Needless to say that sucked.. The flight left at 2:30, I think I finally left the airport with my luggage around 11:30PM that night..

Hartsfield is becoming a terrible airport to fly in and out of now. With all the construstion and "improvements" it is a big pain in the ass. Not to mention security is a PITA. Miami is ok, I have flown in and out numerous times both domestic and international. The only complaint I have is their Customs suck a fatty.

On a somewhat different note....they renamed the airport Hartsfield-Jackson. Now they are building a new international terminal on the east end where the Delta hangars are.

Guess what the name is???

"Maynard Holbrook Jackson, Jr. International Terminal" I am not kidding either, thats the full name of the terminal.

Then when I left the airport at 11:30 I got into my BMW and drove home. Well actually not because I didn't own it yet, but I was thinking about owning one then..

Wow now we're back on topic.. :)

I was thinking of driving my BMW down there, but I am at 48xxx miles and my warranty goes to 50k. So I don't want my warranty to expire on the drive down.
